The Institute’s Women in Physics Group is a full member of EPWS.
The Group is part of the Institute of Physics, which is a scientific membership organisation devoted to increasing the understanding and application of physics and which has an extensive worldwide membership (currently over 34,000).
The Women in Physics Group aims at promoting equal career opportunities for women physicists, at supporting and encouraging women scientists in their careers, at encouraging women to return to their scientific career, at presenting physics as an attractive career option for schoolgirls and to raising the profile of women in physics.
